Client Service Coordinator

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing the first level of tech support for customer and vendor issues
• Coordinating project logistics
• Remote training at client facilities
• Administration of an online media management and streaming application

Musts:

• Knowledge and experience in Digital Media including: Encoding, Windows Media and QuickTime Streaming
• Comfortable working with online applications and streaming media
• Able to provide technical support on Windows 2000, XP; MS Office; and Mac OS 8-10
• Great communication skills – must be personable and good on the telephone
• Comfortable providing assistance to un-technical creative people using a software application
• Solution oriented – must be able to diagnose and solve problems
• Service oriented – primary role is to manage customer’s experience using system
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
• Ability to develop and manage client relationships

Pluses:

• LAN/WAN knowledge is useful (highly desired skills), but not required
• Experience in postproduction and/or production services
• Exposure to postproduction systems such as Final Cut, Avid and/or encoding solutions
• College/University degree

Encoder

You will have an opportunity to work hands-on with the latest Internet streaming, and digital cinema technologies, including Windows Media, MPEG-4, H.264 and other proprietary media technologies. Your work will be seen by viewers all around the world and allow our operations team to operate more efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of Internet streaming, and digital cinema files
• Capture of video sources
• Use of video editing and encoding tools
• Perform quality assurance tests of encoded files
• Duplicate DVDs and hard drives
• Deliver encoded files via digital delivery

Requirements (Please do not apply if you do not have these skills):

• Familiarity with Windows and Mac OSX operating systems
• Critical eye and ear for quality assurance of video and audio
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work without supervision
• Experience with HTML/DHTML, ASP, JavaScript
• Some experience with C#, ASP.NET
• Strong interest in learning software development methodologies

Candidates with these additional skills are highly desirable:

• Knowledge of film and video technologies
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Hands on experience with digital video encoding
• Knowledgeable use of Final Cut Pro, Cleaner XL, and Sorenson Squeeze
• Experience with computer technologies and support
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with XML/XSLT
