Account/Sales Coordinator

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage and grow existing accounts, create new revenue opportunities and help execute sales/marketing strategy
  • Assist in the qualification, development, and closing of sales opportunities
  • Gather requirements for client solutions (consultation style selling)
  • Write proposals and PowerPoint presentations
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations
  • Outreach programs – direct marketing and trade show participation and organization
  • Reporting – manage quarterly forecast documents and status reports
  • Work directly with VP Sales and CEO

Musts:

  • College degree
  • Great communication & presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of or exposure to:
    • Digital media formats and streaming (hobby or self interest is OK)
    • Media production/post production
    • Digital media distribution (private/public/satellite)
  • Prior experience selling media management, streaming media, distribution, VOD or IPTV solutions

Flex/AIR/Actionscript Developer

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist in designing and maintaining the company's flagship product, which is an AIR-based video playback tool
  • Maintain ANT-based build scripts
  • Document program design, coding and maintenance to allow for future changes
  • Design data flow diagram, flow charts, work flow diagram, business process diagram using UML
  • Develop test plans.
  • Design and develop new features for the applications
  • Work with client services team in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Communicate with offshore development team

Musts:

  • Adobe Flex/AIR
  • ActionScript 3
  • OOD/OOP
  • Strong U/X background
  • Strong familiarity with the AIR/Flex developer ecosystems
  • Familiarity with Cairngorm
  • Experience with RESTful web services and/or tools such as RestFulX
  • Experience with MVC frameworks
  • HTML/JavaScript
  • CSS
  • Streaming media
  • Experience with Ajax

Pluses:

Account/Sales Coordinator

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Under limited supervision, design and implement improvements to Sample Digital’s infrastructure, to include high-availability, redundancy, load balancing, monitoring and back-up strategy.
  • Document current infrastructure.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support.
  • Assist sales engineering with determining customer requirements and solutions.

Musts:

  • Linux (especially Fedora/CentOS)

  • Load-balancing (hardware and software)

  • Cisco routers and firewalls
